Dr. David Hunter has pastored Tabernacle Baptist Church since July 1996. He graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Billy Graham in Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth. Dr. Hunter has a Master’s Degree in Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has an undergraduate Degree from Samford University. He has also pastored
a church in Matheson, Mississippi. In addition, he has been a Minister of Music and Minister of Youth. Dr. Hunter is married to the former Carol Green and they have two children, Josh and A.J.
Jenni Carter, Director of Children’s Ministry

Jenni Carter started her ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church as the Preschool Director and became the Director of Children’s Ministries in 1989. She also teaches conferences for the Georgia Baptist Convention as a certified Sunday School Equipper. Jenni is married to Jimmy and they have three daughters, Jocelyn, Joni, and Jenna.

Matt Brown began serving at Tabernacle Baptist Church in May 2010. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Amy have been happily married since 2004 and they have a dog named Molly. Matt has a passion for student ministry and desires to see students cherish Christ above all things.

Nell is the Administrative Assistant and began her employment on January 13,2009. She is married to Randall and has two children, Michael and Tammy.

Church Hostess and began her employment on June 1, 1993. She has two children, April and Adam.
Lou Snider, Financial Secretary

Lou Snider became the Pastor’s Secretary on April 30, 2001 and became the Financial Secretary on January 9, 2006. She is married to Dennis and they have two children.
Lisa Johnson became the church organist on July 1, 1997. She now serves as the Church Instrumentalist, playing the piano and keyboard. She is married to Chris and
has three children.
Kevin Pippin is our Lake Caretaker and began his employment on January 28, 2008. He is married to Clara and they have two children.
