- Did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped

- He emptied Himself

- Took the form of a servant

- He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross

- God exalted Him

- Bestowed upon Him the name above every name

- Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess

- Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
