DISCUSSION: What is Daniel’s purpose as stated in Daniel 1:8? What do you think motivated Daniel? How did God respond to Daniel’s commitment (see v. 9)?

DISCUSSION: God gave Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael & Azariah “spiritual gifts, sustaining grace” & “surpassing greatness.” God took care of these four young men who took a stand and operated by faith in the Lord. What does this tell us of God’s character?
