Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Discussion: Discuss the importance of partaking of the Lord’s Supper “in remembrance of me.” How might we lose the focus of Christ in the Lord’s Supper? How does the Lord’s Supper “proclaim the Lord’s death?”

Day 2
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:27-32
Discussion: What does it mean to partake of the Lord’s Supper “in an unworthy manner?” Also, what does it mean to be “guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord?” Discuss how this should impact our understanding of the significance of the Lord’s Supper. Finally, how might we examine (v. 28) and judge ourselves (v. 31)?

Day 3
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:33-34
Discussion: Paul is chastising the church in Corinth for turning the Lord’s Supper into a selfish event designed to satisfy the appetite. The focus was no longer on Christ and Him crucified. How can we make sure Jesus is the focus of the Lord’s Supper? And on a related note, how can we make sure our worship services are focused on the Lord?
