Discussion: We can have “Joy in the Ministry” as we turn to the Lord Jesus. Describe a time in your life when you encountered difficulty and found Christ to be sufficient. Also, what would you say to a friend who is struggling with his or her faith because of suffering?

Scripture: John 15:1-11
Discussion: Christ reminds us that being connected to Him (the vine) is essential to being fruitful in our Christian life. At the end of this section, Jesus says that He spoke these things “that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” Being connected to Jesus and serving Him leads us to joy that is full! What things in your life may be disrupting your walk with Jesus? What can you do to make sure that you are truly abiding in Christ?
