DAY 1
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 4:14; 2:17; 7:26
DISCUSSION: What do these verses teach us about Jesus’ role as our great High Priest? How is He similar to the Old Testament high priests, and how is He different? Spend some time thanking the Lord for saving His people from their sins.

DAY 2
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 4:15; Isaiah 53
DISCUSSION: Hebrews 4:15 teaches us that Christ can sympathize with our weakness. He knows what it is like to face the full brunt of temptation. However, He withstood temptation and never sinned. How does the humanity of Christ (taking on human flesh, living as a human, and facing temptation) affect His role as our High Priest? Why is it significant that Jesus was able to remain sinless and resist temptation?

DAY 3
SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 4:16; 1 John 1:5-10
DISCUSSION: Have you ever been reluctant to draw near to Jesus? What might cause a person to shrink away from the Lord? In other words, what might hinder our fellowship with the Lord and cause us not to draw near to Him as often and as willingly as we should?
