Praise the Lord! Wow! God is on the move at TBC. The 180 Rally with the Old Paths last Friday, February 28, was a fabulous success! We had a great crowd and three precious men from the Rescue Mission made professions of faith. We had a hallelujah time, and God was honored.
Then, our Revival services with Pastor Mike Stone have been a tremendous blessing. We have welcomed one new member and had numerous guests visiting. If you missed any of it, you missed a great blessing. Do yourself a favor and listen online! Thank you for your faithful giving to the Love Offering. I am more encouraged than I have ever been about the potential for Tabernacle Baptist Church – our best days are ahead of us!
March is “Prove the Tithe Month!” We are challenging each member of the church to commit to tithe for one month – let’s believe God and see what He can do. “'And try Me now in this,' Says the LORD of hosts” (Mal. 3:10).
Our new G.R.O.W. ministry is up and running. We’ve had 45 people sign up to serve on a G.R.O.W. team so far! This is an “every member” ministry. G and R teams will be going out Monday and Tuesday, March 8 & 9. Pray!
Enrollment cards are on the Lord’s Supper table. If you have not already signed up, please take one, fill it out, and place it in the blessing bucket. We are asking you to commit to one night or afternoon a month. There are places to serve other than going on visitation. Please prayerfully consider your participation in G.R.O.W. and help us reach our new Sunday School attendance goal of 150 by the end of the year.
As always, I am looking forward to what God will do at Tabernacle this coming Sunday. Please be present with your Bibles in hand as we worship the Lord together. We will be considering the “Design of Discipline” from Philippians 2:12-18.
