The Disciples Reaction – vv. 49-51
They were not spiritually ready
Did not listen (follow the words of Christ)
Did not pray
Did not respond well
Thought the battle was physical rather than spiritual

Responded in a physical way
As his followers, if we are not prayed up and standing firm, we will react to the temptations of the world with physical means rather than spiritual.

The world is full of darkness, and we are called to be children of light. Therefore, we should not have any desire to wander in the dark.
Do not walk where they walk
Do not live as they live
Do not respond as they do
