DAY 1
SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:19-25
DISCUSSION: In Sunday’s sermon notes, this section of the book of Daniel has the heading “The Triumph of Fireproof Faith.” One of the points under this section is “Comforted in the Fire” (vv. 24-25). What does this tell us of God’s role in suffering? What does this tell us about the source of comfort in our suffering?

DISCUSSION: In this section, we see Hananiah, Azariah and Mishael delivered from the fiery furnace. In what ways do we see the power of the Lord displayed here? Why do you think the Lord delivered them (see v. 28-29)?

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 91
DISCUSSION: Read through Psalm 91 together, and list all the ways that the Lord protects His people. Use this psalm to pray specifically for the persecuted church as the Lord brings individuals and people groups to your mind.
